The mission was partnership between Beulah PCEA Health Committee, Gertrude Gardens Hospital,
Githogoro and Tumaini Cancer Support Organization. This worked very well and it started with Tumaini giving a talk on cancer awareness and a testimony in each of the three service. In total about 300 persons attended the services.
126 persons including 35 men went for the checkup which included blood pressure, glucose test and finally a breast examination. Three women were found to have lumps and were given referral letters for further examination. Two women who had already attended another medical camp cam for a second opinion. They were advised to take urgent action in seeking treatment. A desk was set up for those who needed to ask further questions and counselling. The activity was very successful
